The J.C. Coleman Foundation, Inc.

The J.C. Coleman Foundation, Inc. believes exposing our children to new and exciting adventures is an important aspect of educating young minds.

Forty-five participants have signed up to be a part of the free after school program sponsored by the J.C. Coleman Foundation at the John S. Delaware Center at 1815 Lincoln Street.

The Coleman Foundation will start another successful school year by providing an innovative tutoring and after school program at the Delaware Center.

Many after school programs offer homework help to the participants of their respective programs. But the J.C. Coleman Foundation After School Program is not the typical after school program for it offers more—much more.

If I have found one thing that is true in this life, it is the fact that we are here on this earth to give something, not to get something. We have to give up on the concept of the unholy trinity of me, myself, and I and swallow our pride.

The J.C. Coleman Foundation, Inc. is a growing non-profit serving at-risk adolescents has named Sheila McKnight to the newly created position of website coordinator, beginning this July 2010.

Forming the J.C. Coleman Foundation was based on a father’s desire to make sure his daughter was happy.

The J.C. Coleman Foundation, Inc., in conjunction with The John S. Delaware Center is welcoming children ages 5-13 to join us this summer at the Delaware Center for Summer Camp.

The months of tutoring and enrichment activities have paid off for the J.C. Coleman/Delaware after-school students. Fourth quarter progress report grades revealed 63-68% improvement while survey results remained favorable.

After an entire school year of hard work and dedication to The J.C. Coleman Foundation, Inc. and John S. Delaware Center’s After School Program, the enrolled students will be rewarded with an End of Year Bash at Lake Mayer in Savannah, Georgia.
