Eckerd announces a new Early Head Start program in Tampa. On July 9, 2015, 60 families will attend the open house/ribbon cutting ceremony.

Every two minutes, a child is removed from his or her home due to abuse or neglect, often with nothing more than the clothes on their back. Residents of Land O' Lakes are asked to help change that by participating in an item drive on May 18, 2015.

Winners to be announced at the Gala on the Bayou in Louisiana. All proceeds will benefit Eckerd's CenLa Wraparound Agency. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities still available.

Eckerd is now providing foster home services in Kansas. Interested foster parents are encouraged to visit the organization's website or call its Wichita office. Eckerd is also partnering with The Positive Pathways Program (P3) to benefit children.

As part of the state's Pinnacle Plan, Eckerd and Oh Be Joyful Farm have teamed up to provide more family like settings for Oklahoma foster children currently in shelters.
