In a meeting held two weeks ago in Windsor, I shared the goals of 'Elders Helping Hands' with members of Igbozue Connecticut USA. Members of Igbozue are my closest kinsmen abroad, and I needed their moral and financial support.

What surprised me is the commonality of problems between seniors in America and their counterparts in Akokwa.

Something is wrong in a society where elders struggle because family members are incapable of providing care.
