Montgomery County Toastmasters Club

The Montgomery County Toastmasters club recently met in Hillsboro, IL. Mike Meier, DTM installed the new officers last month. Their term will run from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. Bill Guthrie will be the new club president.

The Montgomery County Toastmasters Club of Hillsboro, IL met on Tuesday 5-15-12. Two prepared speakers delivered presentations. Dennis Viehweg gave a spiritual speech while Dr. Todd Austin spoke about cholesterol and statin drugs.

On Tuesday 5-1-12, the Montgomery County Toastmasters Club of Hillsboro, IL held their first ever outdoor meeting behind the Challacombe House. Mike Meier, DTM was the prepared speaker.

Ron Lawrence, TM and Mike Meier, DTM both of Hillsboro, IL competed on behalf of the Montgomery County Toastmasters Club at the Area 1 Contest, Saturday morning 3-3-12 at the Public Library in Jacksonville, IL.

The Montgomery County Toastmasters of Hillsboro, IL met on the evening of February 7th, 2012. There were 13 members and special guest Area 1 Governor Nate Randall DTM present. The Toastmaster of the night was the club's newest member Mike Meier, DTM.

The Montgomery County Toastmasters of Hillsboro, IL met on the evenings of January 3rd & 17th, 2012. There were an average of 16 members in attendance at each event. Two prepared speakers spoke at each January Toastmasters Club meeting.

The Mont-Co Toastmasters met in Hillsboro, IL on 11-15-11. It was a special "Open House", in conjunction with "Toastmasters Week". 16 members were present, as were 10 guests. The club also made plans to hold a Christmas Party on December 6th.
