Southeast Ventura County YMCA

The event, held November 4 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, drew 340 guests.

Families can enjoy a Breakfast With Santa at the Simi Valley Family YMCA and pick up a Christmas tree.

Coaches are responsible for recruiting players for their teams (a minimum of seven players is required). Coach registration opens online on Monday, October 16.

Proceeds from the evening go to a number of YMCA programs including "Find My Genius."

YMCA Child Care staff decorate their car trunks with fun themes and pass out candy. The event is free and open to the public.

The funds raised from the evening support YMCA programs. Last year, the gala raised over $600,000.

The program is designed to reduce the achievement gap that often occurs over summer break.

Group and private lessons are available for members and non-members.

The funds will be used to ensure local YMCA programs and memberships are available to those in financial need and to enhance YMCA programs.

Founder of Safe Passage Youth Foundation Tim Hagel is the keynote speaker.
