Making its Long Island debut, An Evening With Charlie Todd and Friends: The Improv Everywhere Live Show, is an hour of behind-the-scenes stories followed by a live improv performance.

Adelphi University graduate and Creative Arts Therapist, Denise Fehrenbach comes back to her alma mater to direct the thought provoking Laramie Project with a cast of eight playing over 60 roles.

Adelphi University is proud to feature Improvisation as Strategy: Scenes from an Iraq Embed, a multimedia exhibition chronicling experiences by photojournalist and documentarian Brian Palmer as an embedded journalist in Iraq from 2004-2006.

The award-winning WNYC public radio program, Selected Shorts, comes to the Performing Arts Center at Adelphi University for a fun filled night of live readings of classical and contemporary works by Joshua Ferris, Dorothy Parker, and more.

Under the direction of associate professor Dr. Brian Rose, theatre majors from Adelphi University bring to life the classic Charles Dickens tale, A Christmas Carol. This live reading promises to be plenty of fun for everyone involved.

On November 12, 2010, four graduate students in Adelphi University’s Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies presented at the annual New York State Association of School Psychologists conference.

Illusionist and winner of two Innovative Theatre Awards, Jeff Grow, will present his new magic show, The Art of the Con. This show features an evening of artistry that is unlike any other and will leave the audience wanting more.
