One of the founding artists of Austin Art Space, Valerie Walden, will pack up her portfolio and move to Smith Roads Studios to participate as a guest artist in the East Austin Studio Tour (E.A.S.T) for the third time, November 13-21, 2010.

The official two year anniversary of Austin Art Space will feature the nine artists that make the space possible. The “9+Art=2” exhibit includes all nine resident artists that currently occupy studio space. October 11-31, 2010.

A new painting by Valerie Walden will be in the 2010 Austin Visual Arts Assn Member Show at the Studio2Gallery in Austin July 17 - Aug 7. The striking work, “I Hear the Whistle Blowing” features a dramatic, mountain-side train in Skagway, AK.
