A mixed week for Bedales Girls Hockey saw the improving U15 girls triumph in a convincing 10-0 victory against Portsmouth High School.

Dunhurst, Bedales Junior School, played host to a six-a-side tournament last week with over 80 boys from seven different schools competing.

Sixth form students Cicely Robinson and Tabatha Curry have qualified for the British Mathematical Olympiad test this week after scoring well in the Senior Mathematical Challenge, coming in the top 1000 students with a total of 65,000 competing.

Bedales School continued teaching on Thursday last week, albeit with a slightly amended timetable, which included students assisting to clear the roads and pathways in the village of Steep as part of their ‘outdoor work’ activity.

This week Dunhurst's assembly room more closely resembles the National Portrait Gallery following an ambitious initiative led by Dunhurst's Head of Creative Studies, Elaine Hewitt to support the national 'Big Draw' campaign.

Dunhurst (Bedales Junior School) played quality football from the off with a 1-0 lead thanks to Barnaby Watney but Great Ballard came back strongly and forced some errors which put them 3-1 up after 30 minutes.
