New for 2010: The Center for Metal Arts now offers hands-on time for students, aspiring artists, and serious makers to work at your own pace in the metals studio. Learn skills, fix, invent, and fabricate under the eye of an experienced advisor.

Working physically with hot iron can be a creative springboard for new ideas in the design process, in an environment away from virtual design space. No prior metals experience is required for this hands-on day at the forge for design professionals.

"Moving Metal: Flow and Form in Conceptual Design" is a hands-on day at the blacksmith studio for the architect and design professional. No prior metals experience is required for this Center for Metal Arts workshop on Saturday September 26, 2009.
