Elant at Fishkill Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center has been awarded a Five Star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for its overall quality. A Five Star rating is the highest rating possible.

The Elant Foundation's Annual Elant Golf Open July 15 will feature two special guests: James Patterson, America’s No. 1 best-selling author, and Robert Reiss, author and host of The CEO Show, a nationally syndicated business radio show.

The competition was fierce last week at Elant at Goshen, where residents from the Adult Home battled it out during the Wii Bowling Championships against clients from Adult Day Health program and the Daybreak program.

Glen Arden, Elant’s Continuing Care Retirement Community, will be hosting a book signing and open forum with local authors Deb and Val Gantt (aka DeVa Gantt) on June 11 at 2 p.m. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

Three volunteers with Elant at Fishkill Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center were honored recently, two by the New York State Health Facilities Association, and the third by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Dutchess County.

Since the residents at Elant at Fishkill Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center couldn’t attend a Las Vegas wedding of two longtime employees, those employees decided to bring the wedding to the residents.
