Board members of the United Way of St. Joseph County (UWSJC) voted on Thursday to maintain the current level of their agency program allocations for 2010.

Ken and Pat Baur, owners of Framing Concepts Gallery, received the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities’ Partnership Award, for their service to people with disabilities.

The Delta Theta Tau Winter Gala to benefit Opportunity Enterprises held on February 6, 2010, raised over $73,000, supporting the more than 1,000 adults and children with disabilities OE serves in Porter County and Northwest Indiana.

Opportunity Enterprises will hold a press conference at 9:30 am on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Strongbow Inn in Valparaiso, to announce their One Year – One Challenge, Building OE Lakeside Capital Campaign.

Between Friday, April 9, and Friday, April 23, Wagner’s will donate $2 to Opportunity Enterprises for every full slab, half slab or packaged rib sold at their Porter and Valparaiso locations. This offer applies to both dine in and carry out orders.

Tickets are now available for the 2010 Opportunity Enterprises Celebration of Achievement Breakfast, to be held on Thursday, April 8 at Strongbow Inn in Valparaiso.
