On 7th March, in a seminar for the celebration of World Women’s Day at the Heritage Academy Kolkata, Dr. Madhumita Sen, HOD, Department of Sociology, Maulana Azad College commented that today’s women needs to lobby to stay in the social system.

On 3rd March 2012, Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata organized an interdepartmental Techno-cultural fest “Symphony 2012” which was based on the theme “Reveal your inner Talent”.

On 10th Feb 2012, National HRD Network (NHRDN) organized a Student’s Conference at Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata in Multiplex simulated auditorium in the campus.

On 3rd and 4th February 2012, PRARAMBH, Management fest was been organized by Management Education Center, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.

On 1st February 2012, Heritage Institute of Technology in association with IEEE Computer Society organized a National Seminar on the “Recent Trends in Data Warehousing and Data Mining” in the campus.

On 30th January 2012, the Heritage School Kolkata organized “CONFERO 2012” an Interschool Debate Competition which was participated by 12 schools across the city.

On 25th January 2012, 5 members from Rotary International at Brazil visited Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata during their Group Study Exchange Programme with India.

On 22nd January 2012, the students of Management Education Center of Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata organized a Health Camp in association with Lions Club Calcutta District.

On 17th January 2012, Srinagar Sherdil, the winners of Kashmir Premiere League (KPL), visited the Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata to interact with the students so as to inspire them about National Integration beyond education.

On 17th November, 2011, Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata established the IEEE Electronics Devices (EDS) Students’ Chapter in its campus.
