Plastic tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries now offers its Thermobarb barbed fittings in five materials: polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon, PVDF, and brass. Thermobarb fittings work well for both fluid and air transfer systems.

NewAge offers silicone tubing that works with temperatures from -100°F to 500°F, a range not possible with many other common plastic or rubber tubing materials. Applications include beverage service, computers, and medical devices.

NewAge’s CEO and majority shareholder, Ken Baker, has sold an additional ten percent of company stock to its employees through the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The plan helps employees save for retirement.

AdvantaPure(R) now offers a fabric and wire reinforced hose made from platinum-cured silicone for high purity applications. The hose, called APSW, is crush and kink resistant and handles both pressure and full vacuum.

Nylobrade braid-reinforced PVC hose is manufactured from a PVC compound that is free of DEHP and other carcinogenic plasticizers. This is an important feature for those involved with food and medical related applications.

NewAge Industries-AdvantaPure(R) has released a video that details the benefits of AdvantaFlex. The tubing may be welded, heat sealed, molded into fittings and used in peristaltic pumps. The video also notes the tubing’s extensive testing.
