One Night...One Admission...Two dynamite bands. PineCone's Down Home Series continues on March 11 at 8 p.m. in downtown Raleigh with the Grammy-nominated Dan Tyminski Band and the Tony Rice Unit each scheduled to perform a set during the evening.

The annual North Carolina Sacred Harp Singing Convention will take place at the Page-Walker Art and History Center on Feb. 28. The day includes a potluck at noon, and community singing sessions from 9:30 a.m. – noon and from 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
