Before beginning their tours, the public can stop by Whole Foods Market (650 Town Center Drive, Oxnard) for light breakfast fare, snacks, and beverages.

Each farm is unique, but all will feature a number of activities such as free produce, min-tours and food and beverage samplings.

The barbeque is where farms and the community can come together at the end of the day to share a locally-grown meal.

One bus can transport up to 60 students at a cost of approximately $250.
