Colorado based dog rescue organization, National Mill Dog Rescue, announced this week that it has been honored with a prestigious 2014 Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations.

National Mill Dog Rescue, headquartered in Peyton, today announced receipt of a $10,000 grant from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), New York.

In a unique twist to the very serious issue of puppy mills in the United States, two puppy mill survivors, Harley and Teddy, will hit the road this week with a team from National Mill Dog Rescue to rescue puppy mill dogs. DOGS SAVING DOGS!

Superheroes come in all shapes and sizes. Two puppy mill survivors, Harley and Teddy, both Chihuahuas, donned their superhero capes and traveled through the Midwest this past weekend, saving 59 dogs from puppy mills with National Mill Dog Rescue.

A rescue team from National Mill Dog Rescue mobilized into action this past week to pick up 50 surrendered breeding dogs from puppy mills across Kansas. This rescue was funded through the efforts of 2 little "survivors", Harley & Teddy.

Two rescue teams from National Mill Dog Rescue mobilized into action this weekend and traveled through Kansas and Missouri picking up 75 surrendered breeding dogs from multiple puppy mills.
