Four members of the original Duhks will perform in Raleigh's Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts at Fletcher Theater on Friday, Feb. 10 with NC's own Kellin Watson. The Busy Bee Cafe will host an acoustic music jam after the show!

Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka, and Lucy Kaplansky recorded a collaborative project in 2010 called "Red Horse." Now this power-house trio is taking the show on the road for a limited number of performances, and they will stop in Raleigh on January 21!

The Kickin Grass Band celebrates their 10-year anniversary with a special hometown concert at Durham's Carolina Theatre on January with appearances by the Apple Chill Cloggers and band members from the ensemble's past. Tickets are only $15!

A Native American slide blues musician, 14-year-old Lakota John Locklear, will perform at the NC Museum of History in Raleigh on Sunday, Jan. 8 at 3 p.m. This concert is part of the Music of the Carolinas series and is free and open to the public.

Grammy Award winners David Holt, Bryan Sutton, and T. Michael Coleman have each been inspired by and performed with Doc Watson over the years. As Deep River Rising, they honor Watson's musical legacy with a Jan. 6 concert in Raleigh.

The Mostly Mountain Boys (Paul Brown, Terri McMurray, and John Schwab) will perform at the NC Museum of History on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. Canned food donations will be accepted for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC at this free concert.
