United Way of St. Joseph County is proud to partner with The American Federation of Labor and the Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) to host the annual Workers Memorial Day Service on April 27, 2012 at 4 pm.

Memorial Hospital & Health System, as in previous years, continues to be the third largest source of donations for United Way’s annual campaign. 1st Source Bank is the 4th largest contributing company to United Way’s annual campaign.

Although one-on-one appointments are almost full, qualifying taxpayers will have the opportunity to file their taxes using United Way’s Free Assisted Self-Service Tax Preparation (FAST) computer stations.

These very popular coupon cards feature around 15 local and regional golf courses each. All coupons are for a free round and 1/2 cart, as long as your partner pays for their round and 1/2 cart.

Thanks to the generosity of participating employees, the AM General workforce campaign once again exceeded its goal this year and is the second highest workforce campaign contributor to the United Way of St. Joseph County.

Every day thousands of prescriptions go unfilled simply because they are too expensive. However, because of United Way of St. Joseph County and free FamilyWize prescription discount cards, more people are able to have their prescriptions filled.

This year United Way of St. Joseph County is proud to announce that, despite the challenges of the current economy, Notre Dame exceeded its 2011 campaign goal and was the number one workforce campaign.

United Way is excited to promote EITC Awareness Day on January 27. United Way encourages the community to participate in EITC Awareness Day by scheduling an appointment with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA).
