Silcon(R) Med-X tubing is manufactured from platinum-cured silicone for purity in critical fluid flow applications such as pharmaceutical, medical, surgical, food and beverage. The tubing is extremely flexible and will not support bacteria growth.

AdvantaPure now offers ten ways to identify hoses used in pharmaceutical and other critical process applications. Identification helps increase hose connection accuracy. Options include colors, printing, laser etching, and electronic methods.

Plastic tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries installed a one megawatt (MW) rooftop solar panel system and hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 8, 2011. The system is now in operation and providing 50 percent of the company’s energy needs.

AdvantaPure will exhibit its high purity tubing, manifolds, and disposable fluid processing systems at five pharmaceutical shows this spring. Shows in addition to Interphex and the PDA Meeting include Single Use Systems 2011 and two ISPE events.

Polyethylene-lined EVA tubing offers the functionality and cleanliness of polyethylene with the flexibility of EVA for applications like food and beverage processing, fluid feeds and drains, chemical transfer, and appliance components.

New Overmolded Tri-Clamp Ends from AdvantaPure offer an option for sanitary connections with PVC, TPE, and TPR tubing. They cost less than silicone versions and are well suited for pharmaceutical, medical, surgical, and food applications.
