Alexander Kliment will lead the discussion on future natural gas pipelines, energy security, E.U. policy toward Russia, and the sustainability of Russia’s current foreign policy at the Great Decisions program at the Greenwich Library.

Scott Bates, V.P., Center for National Policy, has worked extensively in America’s efforts to encourage democratic development and combat the threat of terrorism. He will speak on April 21 at the World Affairs Forum’s event at UCONN/Stamford.

The public is invited to attend an Ambassadors Roundtable breakfast presentation on Trade and the World Economy by Kevin P. Gallagher, Associate Professor, Boston University, being held at the Stamford Yacht Club on Wednesday, April 14.

David H. Shinn, former Ambassador to Ethiopia and Adjunct Professor at the Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University, will speak on March 24 at the World Affairs Forum’s event at UCONN/Stamford.

World Affairs Forum's 10th annual fundraiser, WORLDQUEST X, to be April 1 at the Italian Center. Gamemaster David Smith, host of Cablevision’s “Meet the Leaders”, will challenge teams on international topics. Dinner/live auction/raffle prizes.

David Livingston, Principal and Founder of Llinlithgow Associates, NY, will speak on the Global Financial Crisis at the Great Decisions free program at the Greenwich Library on March 15 at 7 P.M.

The public is invited to a World Affairs Forum breakfast presentation "The New World of Cyber Threats" by Scott Borg, Director and Chief Economist of the U.S. Cyber Consequences Unit, held at the Stamford Yacht Club on Wednesday, March 10.

Questions on Genocide, Oman and the World Cup will be among those asked of the 80 students competing in Academic WorldQuest on March 6, 2010, at UCONN/Stamford. This competition of high school teams is organized by the World Affairs Forum.

Benedict F. Kiernan, Director of the Genocide Studies Program at the Yale Center for International and Area Studies, will speak on "Preventing Genocide" at the Great Decisions free program at the Greenwich Library on February 22 at 7 P.M.

Scott D. Michel, President of Caplin and Drysdale, an internationally-recognized expert in handling voluntary disclosures and audits, will speak on February 10 at the World Affairs Forum’s event at UCONN/Stamford.
