During Pastry Live 2014, ten top pastry chefs competed in the Signature Plated Dessert competition. With her "White Chocolate and Apricot Sphere" dessert, Chef Angela Kim of The Modern was named this year's first place winner.

Pastry Live is proud to announce that Chef Justin Fry of Norman Love Confections is our 2014 Chocolatier of the Year. His exquisitely executed chocolates featured creative flavors and high-quality craftsmanship, earning him the esteemed title.

With her cake design inspired by this year's theme of “The Seas and the Skies,” Cathy Kincaid is the winner of Pastry Live's 2014 Art of Cake. Additional winners included Diane Fehder in second place with Jessie Anne Reilly taking third.

On August 26th, five teams of two chefs competed once again in either chocolate or sugar for the title of National Showpiece Champions and a cash prize of $5,000. Team Bill Foltz and Cori Schlemmer were this year's Champions.

From August 24th - August 26th, Pastry Live successfully hosted the fourth annual Pastry Live. Featured during the three-day event were competitions and seminars highlighting the leading pastry talents in the industry.

Pastry Atlanta will be held at 200 Peachtree Special Events & Conference Center in Atlanta, GA on Sunday, August 24th. Atlanta's best pastry chefs will share delicious samples of their work, competing for one of Pastry Live's "Atlanta's Best" awards.

New to Pastry Live 2014, The Dessert Cup asks chefs to craft desserts in a glass, layering multiple flavors and textures together to create the ultimate verrine. Each will compete for the Best Dessert Cup Award and the Audience Choice Award.

The Signature Plated Dessert competitors have been finalized! Top pastry chefs from across the country will create and present a signature dessert that best represents their culinary style to a panel of industry professionals on Monday, August 25th.

Announcing the culinary students competing in the 2014 Student Chocolate Challenge! These rising culinary talents will create and construct chocolate showpieces displaying their skills and will present them on Sunday, August 24th, 2013.

Announcing the 2014 National Showpiece Championship team captains! These chefs are among the top in the industry, possessing impressive skills in chocolate and sugar work. August 26th, each will compete for the title of National Showpiece Champion.
