Pastry Live is proud to announce the 2014 Chocolatier of the Year competitors! These expert chocolatiers will create and present artisan chocolates displaying their craftsmanship to a judging panel and the event's audience on August 24th, 2013.

Pastry Live is proud to announce the 2014 Art of Cake competitors! These skilled artists will be asked to present a cake embodying the theme of "The Seas and the Skies" and present it to a panel of top industry judges on Monday, August 25th, 2014.

From August 24th-August 26th, Pastry Live will host the fourth annual Pastry Live event at its new location, 200 Peachtree. The event’s growth prompted the venue change in order to further expand its offerings while upholding the event's integrity.

Eight advanced pastry students from schools across the country competed in the Student Chocolate Challenge during Pastry Live 2013. Brooke Hoekstra of Joliet Junior College won first place with her beautifully designed showpiece.

During Pastry Live 2013, nine top pastry chefs competed in the Signature Plated Dessert competition. With his "Tropical R&R" dessert, a refreshing blend of citrus flavors, Chef Joel Gonzalez was named this year's first place winner.

Pastry Atlanta, new to Pastry Live this year, featured Atlanta’s best pastry chefs, bakers and more. Each shared samples of their desserts and pastries with our audience in hopes of winning one of Pastry Live’s “Atlanta’s Best” awards.

Pastry Live is proud to announce that Chef Melissa Coppel of Jean-Marie Auboine Chocolates is our 2013 Chocolatier of the Year. Her beautifully crafted chocolates expressed exceptional flavor profiles and artistry, earning her the esteemed title.

From August 25th - August 27th, Pastry Live successfully hosted the third annual Pastry Live. Featured during the three-day event were competitions and seminars highlighting the leading pastry talents in the industry.

With his Art Nouveau inspired design titled “Winds of Change,” Joseph Cumm of EdenJoes Cakery is the winner of Pastry Live's 2013 Art of Cake. Additional winners included Gretchen George in second place with Jessie Anne Reilly taking third.

On August 27th during Pastry Live 2013, seven teams of two chefs competed once again in either chocolate or sugar for the title of National Showpiece Champions and a cash prize of $5,000. Team Maura Metheny and Dan Forgey were this year's Champions.
