Car buffs will have the opportunity to show off their vintage and restored automobiles at the fifth annual Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park's Independence Day Classic Car Show.

Howard Wennes, former interim president of Cal Lutheran University (CLU), is the keynote speaker for the Southeast Ventura County YMCA's 16th Annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast, Thursday, May 7.

The YMCAs serving the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley and Moorpark are now registering kids for their summer resident camps taking place throughout California.

Now through March 31, community members can swim for free at the Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park.
