Car buffs can show off their vintage and restored automobiles at the fourth annual Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park's Independence Day Classic Car Show.

The Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park is hosting a July 4 5K/10K Run/Walk and a free family festival, parade and car show.

A Triunfo YMCA baseball field at its future facilities in Westlake Village will be named in memory of Kenneth Lee Romine, a Westlake High School grad and senior at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, who was killed earlier this year in a car accident.

The Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park is offering a free, one-year membership to local eighth graders.

The Triunfo YMCA will host its first golf classic, Thursday, June 26 at the Moorpark Country Club.

The Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park is hosting free “Fit Beyond 50” events in May. The program encourages men and women age 50 or older to make healthier living choices, reduce the risk of disease and stay active.

Signups are underway for the Triunfo YMCA summer flag football league. The six-week summer season is from July 12 through August 16.

Rochelle Callis, previously regional vice president with the Central Coast YMCA, is now the new executive director at the Conejo Valley YMCA.

Kids can take part in free games and activities at the April 26 Healthy Kids’ Day at The Oaks sponsored by the Conejo YMCA and the Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park.

Families will be able to participate in a variety of free outdoor activities, games and crafts during the Simi Valley Family YMCA "Healthy Kids Day," Saturday, May 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
