In the spirit of National Volunteer Week (April 21 - April 27), the Conejo Valley YMCA is launching an effort to recruit volunteers to help at its main facility (4031 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks) and at its after-school childcare site.

SIMI VALLEY, CALIF.--The Simi Valley Family YMCA is taking signups for its summer camp program, which run from June 17 through August 16. Parents can sign up their children full time or part time, for specific weeks or for the entire summer.

The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura and Oak Park, is signing up participants for its summer camp program and summer swim classes. Summer camp is June 17 through August 16.

The Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park will begin its "Activate Newbury Park," a free eight-week healthy lifestyle program for Newbury Park residents, with an April 3 Family Fitness Expo and weigh-in.

The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park, is taking new members for its Model United Nations (MUN) program, designed for kids in sixth through eighth grades. Meetings are held weekly.

The Conejo Valley YMCA, serving Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and Santa Rosa Valley, is encouraging parents to help keep their kids physically active and mentally engaged by signing them up for Y day and resident summer camps. Camp signups are underway.

The Triunfo YMCA is signing up participants for spring basketball league. Kids in kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible. The eight-game season runs from March 24 through May 19 with practices and Sunday games taking place at Agoura High.
