The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park, will hold its first meeting of its Model United Nations program, designed for kids in sixth through eighth grades on Thursday, February 2 at 6:00 p.m.

The Simi Valley Family YMCA is selling Christmas trees now until December 23. Tree sale proceeds will help families in need participate in YMCA programs. The tree lot is run by volunteers from the Simi Valley Y's Men's Club, a service organization.

Parents who need holiday shopping time without the kids or just want a night to themselves will have the opportunity to do so on Friday evenings December 9 and December 16 when the Triunfo YMCA offers evening childcare.

YMCAs in eastern Ventura County are hosting holiday winter camps that are sure to be filled with fun, games and wonderful memories. The camps coincide with winter breaks for area school districts.

The Miller Family YMCA's Flag Football League begins Dec. 3 and runs through February 4. Sign-ups are now underway. A skills evaluation will be held Tues., Nov. 15 at 4 p.m. at the Y. Participants can also sign-up at that time.

Members of the U.S. Marine Color Guard from Port Hueneme and the Ronald Reagan Marine Corp. League will accept Toys For Tots toy donations beginning at 9:00 a.m., November 19 at the Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park.

Registration for the Simi Valley Family YMCA's "Activate Simi Valley" healthy living program begins November 25.

The Triunfo YMCA is forming a new cheerleading squad under the direction of former Laker girl and professional dancer Jeri-Faye Cohen.

The Conejo Valley YMCA is hosting its 7th annual Turkey Day Dash on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 24.

Signups are underway for the Triunfo YMCA flag football league. The season begins December 8 with weekly games and practices at Chumash Park (5550 Medea Valley Dr. Agoura Hills).
