The Miller Family YMCA, serving Newbury Park, is seeking enthusiastic and energetic summer camp counselors. Summer camp begins June 13 and counselors must be available for training in late May and early June.

The Miller Family YMCA, serving Newbury Park, is gearing up for a fun summer day-camp program. Camp is for kids in preschool through sixth grade. Leadership and counselor-in-training programs are available for older kids.

On April 9, the Miller Family YMCA is encouraging all kids and parents in Newbury Park, Moorpark and Thousand Oaks to come to the Y for a play date and commit to being active every day. It’s all part of the YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day.

The Conejo Valley YMCA, serving Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and the Santa Rosa Valley, will host an 18-hole golf fundraiser on Monday, March 28 at the Moorpark Country Club. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the YMCA's summer resident camp.

The Southeast Ventura County YMCA is seeking sponsors for its 12th Annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast. The event will take place May 5 at the Gilbert Sports Center at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

The Simi Valley Family YMCA received a $20,000 grant from the Harriet H. Samuelsson Foundation. The funds will provide financial assistance to low income children so they can attend the Y's afterschool childcare program.

The Miller Family YMCA in Newbury Park is holding a Spring Break Camp for kids in preschool through sixth grade. The camp will at the Y (320 Via Las Brisas) April 18 through 22.

Kids will be able to enjoy week-long spring camps in Moorpark and Agoura Hills through the local branches of the YMCA. Both camps are for students in grades kindergarten through eighth and coincide when school is not in session.
